Nothing fancy..
Just balls.
I used to make these all te time and loved how convenient they are while in the go or an easy healthy snack to have around the house. Even the kids love them!
In a blender, add the following:
1 cup Rolled Oats
1/2 cup Shredded Coconut
2 scoops of Chocolate Protein (ISO-100)
1/4 cup Almond butter
1/4 cup Agave Nectar
1/4 cup Chia Seeds
3 drops of Cherry Vanilla Stevia drops
BLEND by pulsing it until well combined. You may need to add a bit of water by the tablespoon, and pulse it until you can easily form a ball/balls with the dough.
Place in fridge until ready to eat.
It is as easy as that!
Last night as I was writing a post in my bed. My house started to shake, before I even figured out what was happening it had stopped. I called Brent, who was working on a surprise this weekend.. And asked him if he felt it too. He didn't feel a thing but said he was driving. I then assumed maybe it was just a big truck that drove by.. I checked my Facebook and sure enough my feed was filled with earthquake comments!
The news confirmed it.
Bountiful is on a fault line but we haven't had an earthquake in a long time!
Crazy!
It was however, very small. Nothing fell over or anything and we are all just fine. I found this today and had a good laugh.
It did however make me think about the possibility of a bigger one and how or if we would be prepared. My kids don't have any idea what an earthquake even is.. Time for some natural disaster lessons.
Have you ever been in an earthquake?
If you could only have two things in your 72 hour emergency kit, what would it be?
What is your favorite on the go snack?
