Thursday Thoughts

The weekend is almost here! I am excited because we have no set plans! With the chaos of the holidays we haven’t had a free weekend for quite sometime. I am looking forward to a laid back weekend. I am actually hoping I will find some time to start organizing my house. I don’t know if it is just me, but after the holidays do you just feel like your house in array? Maybe it is just because I have two four year olds who feel the need to take EVERYTHING out of EVERY drawer, toy box or cupboard… I just feel the need to clean a few things out and give everything a place. Sooo… New years resolution is to go room by room and clean it up. Any tips out there?

Workout:

This morning I headed to work early and coached and completed the 4th workout of Hellth 3d. I ran out of time to finish it and had to run home to feed roe. I also taught a killer boot camp class and was able to workout with them for part of the class.

Thursday Thoughts.

Fresh Flowers

My breakfast was a egg mess but was a perfect post workout meal. I think fresh flowers can make anything look good.

I have been buying fresh flowers weekly to display in my home lately and have loved it! They bring a sense of warmth and freshness to any room, despite the cold and crappy inversion we are experiencing outside here in Utah.

The Ollie

I am going to do a full review on this swaddle but I have to tell you that it has been amazing! Roen sleeps, and naps with it and his sleep stretches have improved by a ten-fold. He has always been a good sleeper but last night he went 10 hours! It was pretty amazing.

Extra sleep makes for one happy babe and momma!

Quick Snacks

I am still doing a no sugar challenge until Valentines so I decided to whip up some protein balls but apparently when I was making them, I forgot the protein powder and the agave.. yeesh.. you would think I didn’t sleep last night! I should actually follow recipes sometimes. I was a little preoccupied while I was trying to make them so I am going to have to try again tomorrow..

I did use these new chocolate chips that I was pretty excited about. My friend Ashley introduced me to them and I LOVE them! They are pretty pricey, but because chocolate chips are my vice during the day, they are pretty worth it to get me through this no sugar challenge!

Flexibility

Baylee was blessed with my flexibility or lack there of. I was actually pretty flexible but I had to really work for it. I am no natural gumby and neither is she.. so we have made it a goal to stretch together at least once a day.

Wall splits are rough after a minute and she sits there for FIVE!

Questions of the day:

Do you stretch daily?

What is your favorite flower?
