This morning started early at GPP fitness. It was the second day of our HELLth Week. And by week I mean the next 20 days. We extended our HELLth week this year too last 3 weeks. Three weeks of our hardest workouts. Bringing us into something my boss has dubbed.
Yesterday we did what I believe is our ROUGHEST workout. It is pretty heavy on the legs with power squat cleans, along with a lot of burpees.. 210 of each to be exact.
Todays workout was more cardio based. It felt good to shake out the legs a bit this morning.
After work and my workout I made a big breakfast.
A half cup of oatmeal with PB2, berries, and chia seeds. I also had a not so pretty plate of 2 eggs plus 2 egg whites with spinach.
Okay, I guess the oatmeal wasn’t too pretty either..
Both were pretty dang good though!
I taught a boot camp class then headed to my old stomping grounds to give a health presentation for one of the students. It was like déjà vu walking through those doors again. Not to mention when I walked in and was among all the students I felt like such an old lady. Ha!
Secretly.. I miss high school.
My presentation went well, and I even got to put the students through a workout as well at the end. They were all pretty tough and made it through the quick workout that consisted of burpees, squats, push ups and sit ups.
I am taking a side note, to show this little guy. He is 12 weeks old as of last Friday. I can’t believe how big he is getting already. I can’t get enough of that sweet smile!
After dropping Baylee off at dance I headed home and hung out with the boys for awhile. Tanner has been obsessed with dinosaurs lately. His favorite movie is Jurassic Park right now.. He gets mad when I fast forward through the scary parts! He one tough cookie.
I taught a pump class then cooled down with a quick 2 mile walk/run on the treadmill with a friend I haven’t seen for awhile.
It was a good but BUSY day. Tomorrow I just coach in the AM then it is going to be a pretty laid back morning.
Maybe Ill catch up on Bachelor.. and PLL. Both have started again.. so that’s 4 hours of quality TV to watch. HAHA! Yea.. right..
