Happy Monday!
This weekend came and went so fast. Don’t they all?
I have been MIA on the blog for a bit, so hopefully the start of a new week will motivate me to get back to a regular blog schedule.
The twins have been going to swim lessons, which runs every day for two weeks. They are both pretty anxious around water but each day they get a little better.
Baylee is doing pretty well and Tanner is still pretty nervous about it but hopefully by the end of this week he will get his face wet.
On Friday we headed up to Brent’s family reunion. The kids had fun running all around with cousins, and we just chatted with family till the sun went down.
Everyone was actually camping there but being 30 weeks pregnant, I really didn’t feel up to it. Some of my family was up at our family cabin in Star Valley so we actually headed up there afterwards. It was a late night drive but we arrived safely around 2am. We immediately got settled and to bed. The next morning we headed to the Lincoln County fair.
We spent the afternoon taking the kids on ride, watching shows inside the big tent and then a few more rides..
My kids loved going on all the rides!! I usually love the rides but just watching them go around and around was making me a little nauseous!
I use to go on all the crazy rides and just be fine.. maybe I am getting old? Ha!
There was even elephants there to feed and to ride. I would of loved to ride an elephant but I was declined.. pregnant chicks can’t do much at the fair.. just in case you were wondering.. Maybe next time…
We came home to relax a bit and spent some time on the lake, swimming and watching my brothers do some crazy stunts on the zip line.
I put the video of my brothers on my instagram if you want to check it out.
That night we headed back to the fair for the rodeo!
The rodeo is a highlight of the weekend. I miss rodeos and this is the one we usually make it too during the year! I use to have a horse and went to rodeos more often growing up so lets just say I’m a country girl at heart.
We snacked on kettle corn at the beginning and then Brent went and got us something a bit more substantial.
This teriyaki chicken, rice and cabbage was actually pretty good! Fair/rodeo food can be interesting to say the least sometimes, so I was happy to find this among the stands.
Sunday we headed to church and then drove to cottonwood lake to hang out for a bit.
Absolutely Beautiful!
Now, we are home and back to the grind.
I didn’t workout at all over the weekend and looking forward to the workouts this week at GPP! It is our RX+ week so each day is going to be a fun bench mark workout and a bonus workout later in the day for me. It is one of my favorite weeks of the year at GPP!
