Shape Up Outlet Fitness Event

If you are local, I invite you to come join me at Shape Up Outlets fitness event! Tomorrow May 21 11am-12pm. 
They will be having a HUGE sale on home fitness equipment along with hosting a little fitness competition, having giveaways, discounts on select machines!

Go to HIIT workouts!

There is just something about HIIT workouts that I love! The fact that they are fast paced with a variety of movements that makes them go by fast and make it fun!

Two Ingredient Protein Pancakes

Are you as hungry as I am when you wake up in the morning? 
I'm the type of person that has to eat as soon as I wake up because my stomach literally hurts! 
These pancakes are so simple and quick! 

All you need is:

1/4 c. Kodiak Cake Power Pancake Mix

31 g (almost one entire scoop) of Pescience Gourmet Vanilla Protein (I've used the snickerdoodle too!) The protein powder just needs to be a whey/casein blend! If it's just an isolate they will come out a little dry.

Add water! I add a little bit of water at a time and mix until I have a perfect pancake consistency! 

Pour into hot skillet (I set mine at 350 degrees.)

Flip after about a minute or so!

Top with your favorite fruit and sugar free syrup!!

They are so fluffy, my kids don't even notice that they are protein packed!!

Here we come 2016!

Did we all survive the first Monday of the new year! 
As an instructor I love the energy and excitement the new year brings at the gym! It is common to have a fitness goal and I love meeting and sweating with new faces! 

This year it's my goal to track my activity better. 

I snagged this cute little fitness journal at target and I love it! It has little sections to record different things. It even has a spot to write three things your grateful for that day. I love that. Gratitude = positivity! 

I also want to be more aware of what I tell myself. I have a healthy body that can do amazing things! There is no time to think otherwise this year. 

I snagged this bar at the gym and I really like it! You guys need to try this! They sell out fast everywhere. So keep an eye out and buy them all.
